On December 16th, 1773, Colonial Patriots disguised as Indians boarded three English ships in Boston Harbor and threw the tea that was on board into the water in protest against the duty imposed by King George III.  Did you know that there was a second Boston Tea Party three months later, on March 7, 1774?  On this day, these Colonial Patriots dumped 16 chests of fine tea from Davison Newman & Co. were dumped in the harbor.  Davison Newman & Co. is the distributor of this fine blend of Darjeeling, India, and Sri Lanka. This commemorative tin contains loose tea.
